8am central. Also the conditions on the forecast seem to favoring Nadal. 78 degrees fahrenheit with a 10% chance of rain. Hope it stays that way.

Wow, I'm kinda surprised with the poll results. I like both players- it's likely going to be a great match. I think Nadal is rolling right now. He's playing at the peak of his game, and with so much confidence. He's peaking at the perfect time, and he's very comfortable. Federer has won, but not as convincingly as Nadal and doesn't stand out like he does. May the best man win.

7 AM ET, NBC.

Im not surprised there are a lot more fed fans here than nadal fans, but obviously they didnt watch the semis yesterday.

Wait, 7 AM Eastern? That would mean it's at 6:00 AM Central and not 8AM Central?

exactly. these voters are definitely voting with their hearts. and factor in that nadal on the big points and davydenko on the big points is apples and oranges. i dunno what's gonna happen but how could you put your $ on fed?

As great a tennis player as Federer is, there is no chance in hell that he will beat Nadal in the semis form. Heck, I don't think anyone in tennis history could beat Nadal playing like that. The only chance Fed will have is if Nadal came out and playing poorly.

On all the tennis forums (including mine ;) have a look, shameless plug in my signature! lol) people seem to be voting for Roger.
Is that because we WANT Roger to win or do we genuinely believe it is his time to go down as the G.O.A.T?

i think its Federer's time to win the French Open. Nadal has not lost at Roland Garros and i think after Federer ending one of Nadal's records ( the most games won on clay 81 ) Nadal will be nerves coming into a grand slam with so much expectations and will go down. On the other hand Nadal is nearing world number 1 and has proven that he can beat Federer a number of times so Federer will also be tense. Federer is the more experienced and will handle the pressure alot easy then Nadal you would think. Nadal will go down in a 5 set thriller.

Also for the punters i would be looking at staking in Federer

Nadal - 1.40
Federer - 3.10

Also i think there will be alot of games played in this match.

41 games or more - 1.95

Hah, hard to say. Federer has been practicing for this match, and this match alone, to the detriment of the rest of his game. Practices hitting with spin-friendly lefties like that French juniors champion is one of the reasons why he's been playing not his best against the rest of the field through the French. But then again, his first serve percentage has been ABYSMAL, especially in the quarters and semis, and that could spell doom against Nadal.

Nadal is, as expected, playing his usual brand of damn-near-impossible-to-beat tennis so it may not matter what Federer does.

I call it 50/50 to go either way :p

Just proves how one sided this site is with fed fans, 40-22 fed was going to win. What a joke, you boys actually thought fed could beat the clay court king.
