Does anyone think that Thomas Berdych will reach the top five? He's a great ball striker but his mental focus has dwindled this year, especially during the slams.

Should he seek a high profile coach like Andy Murray? Or is it just a matter of time?

He has the game. But he isn't consistant on all surfaces. I don't know who his coach is now but I think he shouldn't rush things. He's got time.

I dont think so. He is already being bypassed by all of Murray, Djokovic, and Gasquet. They are all younger then him. Baghdatis is the same age but has crushed them when they played, and has much bigger slam showings.

Does seem to have rather disappeared. Don't know if an especially high profile coach would change that though?

He has the game but his results lately has been really disappointing. Maybe the 2nd half of the year will be better.

It's just a matter of time.

Unless a player seriously lacks self confidence (so he needs to cling to the idea of my coach is so and so), his coach's being a big name coach doesn't help by itself.

His game reminds me of Safin's, let's hope he isn't as soft in the head as Marat.
