Well seeing as the racquet you're talking about is in the Auction part of the website, has close ups of Fed's signature on it and such, that's why it is more expensive. I doubt Federer played or plays with that exact same model still, but it sure adds to the price having his Signature on it.

Its says on the auction, that it is his racquet from the Austrilian Open. Who knows, maybe he did play with it. The retail version of these racquets come with brown leather grips and the one in the auction has a white grip.

Can someone confirm with that web site whether Fed actually played with this racquet and at which tournament?

If it is a racquet he has really used, can some of us here pool their resources and come up with $2000 to buy it? It will settle lots of debates about swingweight, etc.

Subject: Question on racquet

Hello, is the racquet being sold on auction something that was actually used by Roger Federer? If so, in which tournament?

Thanks
Suresh

BP's a rich guy. Ask him to buy it.

I would NEVER spend that much on a racquet, regardless of who used it. I buy racquets to use not to collect. Besides, I can't afford it.
