Won't be seeded for smaller events (not that he plays them). Probably out of the top 32 by the US Open.

Remarkable free fall, it's all over.

He defends a 3rd round at Wimby, 1st round at MS Canada, and 2nd round at MS Cincinatti, and a 2nd round at USO.

I can see him gaining some points there. It's up to him, and his mind. I believe he can do it.

I hope he gets it together. He has so much talent. He can beat anybody. The best active player not to win a slam.

Caņas is already the top player from Argentina, no. 17. He is no. 9 in the Race. Caņas to play Masters Cup? :D
By the way, do you think he will be seeded in Wimbledon after his suspension and not having played on grass in the last 2 years?

Nalbandian is going to get his act together. He realized that he is the Only other threat Federer has from Rafael Nadal. He is starting to work out.

I think he will get a little fitter and pick up some points within the next 3 months...

Depends if he plays Halle/Queen's. Is he?
And with the #17 ranking, he may be seeded around 25-32. I think he's going to be seeded.

I don't know if he's going to play Masters Cup, but I think he's ending the year in the Top10. He has two GS and 4 MS left to play. He only needs 500 points to be a Top10, and he still has 6 of the most important tournies around. I can see a QF in Canada, Cincinatti and a 4th round in USO.

There is one good thing that can come out of this for fans. He could possibly play some pretty high seeds in the early rounds. Here's hoping for a Nadal vs. Nalbandian match up in Wimbledon. The guy has game but he just needs to stop screwing around. Ditching a tournament to stay at home and watch a race? WTF?

This is the general pro player discussion. The player I mentioned is sinking fast in the rankings, just pointing that out. Thought it might spark some discussion.

Finally... he hasn't been playin Nalbandian level tennis and should've dropped out of the Top 20 a while ago.

There, malakas ;)

Wrong.:p It's only only up to HIM.It's also up to the players he will play against, and with so many young players playing better and better, and older making their comeback,I don't ever see him making to the top10 with such a workethic.

Nalbandian needs to stop pretending to be a pro rally racer and get back into tennis form. He is easily top 5. And he loves smashing racquets too..
