I normally drink water at changeovers. Many professionals I see on TV drink something (various colors I have seen) that they shake up some before taking a drink. Is that a special mixture of something? Is there anything you drink that really recharges you?

Sports drink. You want something that has a little bit of sugar, some sodium, potassium, and a little bit of calcium among other electrolytes. Electrolytes prevent cramping. That's why some eat bananas.

yea thats funny.
i prefer propel. gatorade makes me vomit, and powerade almost tastes as bad. i can easily go through like, a gazillion bottles of propel in a match. easily

Sports drink can make you fatigue more slowly. While it cannot make you play better, it can prevent you from playing worse due to fatigue and cramping.

I drink water. But remember to always drink before you need it, that's why you don't see the pros drink very much when changing ends. Drink about 1 Liter before playing tennis it will help, TRY IT!!!!! (and give me your feedback)

wouldnt slow twitch fit better? Because it would go throughout the match instead of just one segment of the match
