lol well uh nice find. Are sure it is a pro, a 7.0 player? I mean it is only Youtube anybody can post anything. Some people who have been to real pro tournaments might say he is barely 5.0. He might get owned by some college club players.

haha I actually WASN'T sure that was him. I just came across the video and thought people might like to see it.

I really enjoy his loopy strokes. Even his backhand has a loop to it. Seems like most people lock the racquet and just drop it, not loop it.

Yes, he's a top-level player without a doubt. But still, not very entertaining to watch. I don't care for players who plant themselves 10 feet behind the baseline and hit loopy groundies all day. This is a relatively "default" playing style these days. Sigh...

Powerful and consistent hitter for sure, but nothing to spark the imagination at all. Actually all he does for me is make me feel like I suck at tennis, so all in all I'd rate him a 3.0 on my personal pleasure scale.

I think his groundstrokes are refreshingly old-school. His forehand, in particular, is pretty flat and his stances are fairly closed.

He's starting 10 feet back, but watch his feet as he hits the ball. He is moving forward, striking the ball just behind the baseline, then moving back. Closed stance with weight transfer. Not at all modern, but I like it.

If watch his interview on the link I posted, he talks about stepping into the ball and full follow through on his FH. That was what he was trying to practice in the vids. Stepping in definitely old school, but I don't think you would confuse him with any players from the 80s :grin:

i love the 2HBH. Both FH and BH have a big loopy C. But somehow i don't like that forehand much. but the BH is beautiful and solid !
