I was thinking about buying my cousin a lacoste boy's tennis polo, but how is the sizing? The size that i was going to buy is 16yr/EUR16A. How does that translate to normal US sizing, i.e. 10,12,14,16

in u.s. the size of lacoste polo is like 3-7. They havea different scale. How old is you r cousin? I could tell you a better fit then.

He's 12, and he's 5'2, at about 90 pounds, so he wears US12-14.
Thanks in advance

I'm curious myself. I'm wondering if the medium tennis shirt would fit. I typically wear large.

your cuz probably will fit into a three, it might be a little big but he will grow into it.

No point getting a two, he will outgrow it fast.

I'm 5'5'' and weigh 130 pounds and wear a size 4. It looks like your cousin will fit a size 3.

I wear a size medium in Adidas, Nike, and almost every brand; my Lacoste Sport polo is a size 4 and fits identical to my other shirts.

They did tell me at the boutique that a size 4 was supposed to be a small, though.

Size 4 = Small
Size 5 = Medium
Size 6 = Large
Size 7 = X-Large
Size 8 = XX-Large

I wear size large for Nike and a size 6 for Lacoste and they fit about the same. I would say that for me a size 6 Lacoste is slightly more larger than a Nike large, but still fits me comfortably.
