I reduced a grip yesterday

yesterday i went to my neighbor who i hit with a bunch and he is getting a new racket.
he has a pure drive he might use, but the grip was to big, so we decided to try and reduce it.
20 minutes latter the grip was closer to a 3/8 than the 1/2 it started as, and it was starting to resemble a head grip shape
i did this by shaving and sanding the plastic
any comments on how badly i did would be appreciated
by the way my neighbor was very happy with reduction and shape change

Seems like a good idea. From 4-1/2 to 4-3/8. If it feels comfortable and fits perfectly in his hand then I guess there shouldn't be any complications right?

it could change the balance i guess but it sounds like it worked nicely. as long as its sanded evenly there shouldnt be a problem

balance shouldn't change much, if at all, since that plastic mold stuff is really light
