Is there a website you guys use or how do you guys find tennis coaches/trainers near you? I'm 13 in October and I want to start getting lessons to join some tournys later on. I've gotten tips from the forums and some tips from relatives but it would be helpful if I had a coach that could teach me everything.

If you're like me, I'm not going to to get some thousand dollar membership at a club just for tennis lessons.
What I did was cruise the courts near by. You are bound to find a coach teaching. Go tell him you're interested.
our club pros offer lessons to non-members, it is only 3 dollars extra

That doesn't sound bad.

Thanks for the help. I found a nice coach my cousin goes to and he's a great coach. He doesn't break the bank and I've improved a lot after about 3 hours of lessons. My forehand's better and my serve is improving.

Just find a coach at your local tennis courts or go to www.uspta.com and look up a coach in your area
