I'm in the market for some new tennis shoes and would like to find something with very good lateral stability. I tend to underpronate and I just recently rolled my right ankle while playing. I'm currently using the Barricade II's and up until now they have been good, but they're pretty worn out now. Overall they've been pretty good for me, but I'd like to find something with even more stability if possible. Any suggestions?

You're looking for stability then go for the Barricade IV's

I know everybody said the same and I'm not giving a new piece of advice....
I only wanted to repeat it once more just to make sure you had heard! ;-) lol.

I really like the Barricade IV's, but they are a little expensive. Is there anything with comparable stability at a lower price? The main thing I'm looking for is a shoe that doesn't roll over (supinate) when moving side to side.

When it comes to shoes, you often get what you pay for. I've got barricade 4's and they are a bit heavy but the cushioning and stability are well worth it. I've used them for 5 months and they are still going strong. Back in Feb, I also bought a pair of tirrand 2's because if figured they were only $55 so they ought to be almost as good as the barricades. WRONG. While the tirrands are not bad shoes they are not even in the ballpark with barricades. The support in the footbed and the stability on side to side is weak on the tirrands. Barricade 4's also have a six month warranty so if you wear them out, adidas will replace them. You only have one set of feet so treat them right.

Barricade 3's or 4's...both are pretty stable shoes.

I think I'll bite the bullet and go with the Barricade IV's. My previous Barricades lasted forever and they do seem rock solid stable. I looked at some in person today, but they didn't have my size. Guess I'll get them online.
