I keep on hearing about people getting sponsored and was thinking if i was good enough. My tournament record is less than par, http://tennislink.usta.com/Tournaments/Rankings/PlayerRecords.aspx?id=334985&p=1859 I have beaten somebody ranked in the 50's and yesterday I beat somebody ranked 80, 6-1,6-2. What do you think?

Go for it it can't hurt, but aim for a smaller company.
For example my experience and results might be just a little better than yours and i got one with tecnifibre. ( In the process was rejected by prince, babolat, etc.)
I am fairly sure you will get something

if you want some string deals those are not that hard. Just look at ashway or something like that a lower string company.

To be fully sponsored with all equipment free, you almost always have to have a at least top 100 nat. ranking; some exceptions for smaller companies. Most companies also offer preferred player packages where you pay a discounted price for a couple of racquets, strings, shoes, and grips. Getting a preferred player package is always easier, but you still need to be like top 25 in your section or top 5 in the state or top 150 in nation. I am fully sponsored by Volkl and they give me free racquets, strings, bags, overgrips, vibra. dampeners, and hats. Work hard and achieve a high ranking and it'll pay off when you get sponsored.

I got a preferred player package from Tecnifibre, and I am not highly ranked in Texas at all. He said it was an exception, however.

Good luck; as you play more and more you should look into getting a full sponsorship from Technifibre if your ranking is high enough. In case you didn't see it, here are the requirements for full sponsorship from Technifibre.

- Junior players with a top 250 national ranking

^^^ That's where you can submit an application for sponsorship

Don't focus on getting sponsorships, focus on getting better at tennis.
