Adidas 6 month outsole warrenty?

When you send in your Barricade to claim the "6 month outsole warrenty," do you also need to send in a reciept or anything?
Will the warrenty still apply if you bought the shoe on ****?

You need to send in the original receipt along with the cost of the return shipping which I think is like $9 or so.

Only purchases from authorized Adidas dealers qualify so I don't think the auction site does.
