universal length for main and cross?

what is the safest yet most economical length for main and cross?

prob 20x20
the crosses usually take less string though, so u might wanna take that into consideration

depends on the head size too, I did my first 110 last week and it took more than 20 on the mains, yet I had maybe 4' left on the crosses when I strung 2 piece.

There really is no universal here...but 21' x 19' can accommodate most frames.
