Thanks Richard, damn he still strings very hard, Richard do you know if he's using Poly in his set up or still full gut?

You can use Google to do many different kinds of conversions:

Sampras amazes me!! That tight just sounds impossible to play with.

I've been playing with that tension and higher since I started playing tennis.
Then again, I play with the old pro staff 85, which is probably the only frame that will play great at that tension.

Let me guess, you idolize Sampras and have his exact service motion?

Does he still use a lot of lead tape on his racket?

75# on gut.. ok, we've seen this before.

but on lux ???

ouch

I think the highest I've gone on a poly is 60-62 pounds.. anyone here go higher?

Ok Jack and Coke.
First of all the J and C sounds good
secondly how about 45 kgs with ballistic polymono in a mid size estusa frame for Roberto carretero in about '97. On picking up the frame he subsequently threw it on the ground, stomped on it and then with a satisfied look said thats better !!.
I believe that's 99 lbs in your currency. I did string Muster at 88lbs in '95 and that hurt your hand when you tapped the frame against it.
All the best,
Richard

Why is Richard Parnell famous like someone said earlier in the thread? Sorry if it's common knowledge.

For the famous knot which he perfected, and probably a lot of other things ;-)
