Having had a cramp in 4th round of Wimbledon, will Serena will ready to play at Cincinnati, which is a Tier III event in a week? :D I hope so.

She made it to the Semi-finals last year when she was way out of shape. Did like her clothes/outfit she wore at Cincinnati though.

of course she will. cramps tend to go away quickly. although once 'bitten' by a heat injury, which cramps are considered--you become more vulnerable to them in the future. She'll be just fine.

Too bad Martina Hingis isn't there. She seems to play less and less tournies. I haven't seen a Martina Hingis vs Williams sisters match in like FOREVER. Oh well...

Actually, before Cincinnati, isn't Serena playing in Fedcup for the USA? I expect her and Venus to really get through Russia and get into the finals.

Amen to that! I miss the Williams Sisters bashing Martina side to side while Martina plays her finesse game that is soo beautiful to watch.

Serena hasn't played in a Tier III for a while. The top seed in Cincinnati is Anna Chadvchadze (sp?). I think on hardcourt Serena will cream her.

Anna is a good new player that has silently made her way into the top 10, but your right she will get creamed by the stronger players.

After the cramping incident, Serena wore that huge bandage/legging thing for her next match. Obviously preparing her "I was only playing 40%" excuse.

She barely had a backhand. There's a difference between a reason and an excuse. If you thought she was playing anywhere near 100, 90, even 70 percent against Henin, you need to get your eyes checked.

Right on. I heared Serena was only able to hit one-handed backhand slices ala Justine. Nevertheless, it was an amazing 3-setter match.

That means no Fed Cup either. Oh well.... rest up. :D

Apparently, she won't be making it to Cincinatti this year.

Jelena Jankovic isn't there either. So there goes the theory of her playing EACH tournament.

Sorry for the double post...

Since Serena is not playing at Fed Cup, Venus shouldn't either. There is no point. Hence, Venus should quickly enter Cincinnati.

If Maria joining definitely she will show her fighting skill and get revenge on Serena. Watch out.......... ;)
