How many games do you think Venus will win against an injured Fed? I would say 4 games. 6-2 6-2. What do you think?

Fed will just retire. Venus would win. Depending on the injury though, I guess.

Lets say a nasty blister on his right hand.

Venus would win, probably tight though.

BTW, is it 2 out of 3 sets, or 3 out of 5 sets?

If 2 out of 3 sets, Venus would likely win. If it's 3 out of 5 sets, Fed should go through.

Maybe 1 game on the Venus Williams serve in 2 sets, maybe 2 games on the Venus Williams serve in 3 sets. That is if Federer were extremely hurt and limping around or something. The best women would never have stacked up well vs men, but now more then ever they dont. Hasnt anyone learnt their lesson from the Karsten Braasch debacles 9 years ago.

What is the maximum number allowable idiotic threads per day is a TW member allowed? Whatever it is, you sure are using up your allotment fast

Venus serves 120 + miles per hour right into the body. If Fed is really hurt and they play best 2 of 3 sets, Venus should win.

You make it sound like she hits that serve everytime. That is her absolute best serve you are describing, which she might hit 3 times a whole match on her best day.

according to that, it means a div1 college player would prob beat fed if he had a blister too, considering everyone said that a div1 college player would beat the WTA pros haha

She won't even win one game. She may win a few points.

Venus was consistently hitting 120+ bombs on the first delivery. She hit 2 126 mph serves in the final.....she hit 3 first serves in when she was serving for it.... one serve at 120, one at 124, and on match point one at 126!

Andy Roddick served out of his skull at the AO and Roger made him look like a school kid just out of the 5th grade!!!! Venus can serve in the 120's. But she has not seen 128-132 in every corner on every serve for every set. Roger has laser accuracy with that thing.....

The most pathetic question ever posted. So many better ways to achieve 5 seconds of fame.

Venus wouldn't win one game if Roger only has a blister. Trust me, Roger plays at a much higher level than any women tennis player on the planet that even if he's injured, he'd still win easily. If he broke his leg that's another thing...

how many would venus win if fed had say a canker sore on his bottom lip?

Federer's racquet would win this one alone, he doesn't even have to show up.

As always, I have to agree with Drake's post.
How can you expect Venus to win a game even. To hell with even if Fed is injured!
And do not give that lousy logic of her 125 miles per hour serve - she serves that few times a year.

True, but the rest of heavy-footed Roddick's game is the real reason Fed makes him look like a 5th grade kid. Venus' game (especially on grass) does not share the many deficiencies of Patrick McEnroe's husba--er--buddy, Andy.

So...are you saying that Venus would win against Roddick on grass?...or that her movement is better than Roddick's?....because neither one is right...
Venus seems to move better becuase she plays against other women, Roddick's movement isn't good enough sometimes AGAINST MEN but I still think it wouldn't be an issue against women...
so bottom line is that if even Roddick can't beat Federer then Venus doesn´t stand a chance to even win more than 1 game per set...well maybe if Roger was really injured (broken neck) she would stand a chance....but a blister? no way....

The only way Venus could win a set, is if Federer has a tremendous leg injury which doesn't allow him move than 3 steps from the center court.

Fed would hold easily. I don't think Venus would even get a glimpse on his 1st, or even 2nd serve.

Venus would hold too, except the body serves, where Fed would blast a return past Venus.

With a blister in his hand, it wouldn't be contest at all. It's SOO uncontested, it wouldn't be even pretty. Bagels and breadsticks at best.
