Are there any sites that give you ways to strength your wrist and work? My wrist is very weak and it hurts when I play. I think it may be tenditis or something. Thanks.

this is too easy I don't think it's worth it...

I will, however, take the time to post the introduction to a very famous poster on these here forums. Marius.. Marius are you out there? There's a soul in need of saving. I can't do him the disservice of trying to fill your huge, experience worn boots. Please, save this young soul from the pits of ignorance! i just got a hand gyroscope a month or so ago, and i can really notice the difference in my wrist and forearm strength. try this website http://www.handhealth.com/powerball.asp

use a lightweight dumbell and do wrist curls. it helps greatly

I bought one of these cheap from sharper image.


Ergonomic hand massager. Relieves tension and some of the pain in my wrist.

Or you could spend $25 and target your just your wrists. Unlike pushups, the gyroballs target just your wrist. Has nothing to do with being lazy. Basically what they are are palm sized balls that "gyrate" as you hold them firmly (all you sick-minded pervs, don't get any ideas). It works wonders for the wrists and forearms.

How does the gyro ball workout do for TE?

I use an N-Code Tour 90 with Luxilon strings, so it's pretty taxing on anybody's arm who doesn't have perfect strokes.

All I know is before if I played with that racket for 2 hours, the next few days I couldn't play because the ulnar area in my wrist would be too painful to pronate or supinate, and trying to lift things up I felt some pain.

ever since i've been using the gyroball, I feel like I can play again the next day (and have). Basically it's eliminated almost all of the ulnar pain I had. The rest of the pain/tenderness is just from playing tennis for a long time whenever I do. I was very surprised because I played for about 3 hours, and the next day I was expecting some soreness in my wrist area. Turns out it felt completely normal and I went back out again EFFECTIVELY with no problems or soreness.

Don't forget to ice up your wrist too. I credit all my pain being gone to using the gyroball and icing my wrist properly.

All the pros coming back from wrist injuries swear by the gyroball. I think, in fact, Clijsters even had one in her "bag check" on TTC.

If Roddick jumped off a bridge and said it made his serve better, would you too? ...But yeah, gyroball is a good idea :)
