I'm pretty happy using Volkl strings "Power-XL" 1.35 @ 26 kg.
They were lasting about 10hrs, until the indoor season started: humid clay, lower temp, heavier balls = the longevity dropped to 4-5 hrs!
Could you suggest my something similar but more durable?
Thanks
(The more I use this racquet, the more I love it!!!!!)

Don't know what the Volkl strings are like, but I liked ALU 16L on the C10 Pro. Good power and feel, and it lasted a real long time -- the strings were still on it and square when I sold the racquet !

I'd use Ashaway Dynamite 17g. Closer to gut feel and seems to last me a longer time than most other strings. Who does your stringing?

For durability I'd try Tecnifibre Promix 17g or even Ashaway Crossfire 18g. These strings are a lot stiffer than probably what you're used to using. But if you string them at a slightly lower tension, the flexibility and heft of your C10 should have no problem handling the stiffer, more durable strings. You'll probably also get less power and more spin/control out of these two strings. If you've ever had elbow problems though, I would steer clear of these strings.

i used to love babolat powergy in my c10s but did have a durability problem. i'd try them in a hybrid maybe w/ synth gut.
