I was there too! It was more entertaining than I expected. They kept it close and had a good match. The doubles afterward was exciting too. I think the girl going to Duke didn't even understand why she was getting boo'd. heh

So Pete was using a Wilson nCode Six-One from the looks of it. What racquet was Mac using?

lol.
man, give Pete a break. he got too exhausted and stressed during his career so he lost too many hairs. lol. look at Agassi. ;)

A Dunlop Maxply McEnroe, of course!

Looks like his signature Dunlop available here at TW. A cross between a Mfil200 16X9 and mfil 300

Is Pete using the nsix one 95? It looks kind of rounded at the throat and the beams look wider then the 90.

okay, if mcenroe took a set off sampras, theres no reason federer shouldnt double bagel him in the upcoming exhibitions other than entertainment purposes or a preset match.

Pete doesn't look right in that outfit.
infact, everything Pete's wearing is the exact opposite from the style he used to wear in his playing days.
predominantly white, collared shirt. solid colored shorts. and his socks pulled up.
i miss the old Pete.

I think you are right. I use the nCode 90 and his racket looked a little bigger from the picture. Only way to really tell is to pick up that racket and look at it.

i do too....what this now....some random nike dri fit shirt, ugly vapor 3s, ankle socks?

cmon pete! bring back the classic all white and put on your crew socks and slick looking black air oscillates!

even if he were to go modern the polo federer wore at montreal and cincy this year is real classic looking...i bought one in white/blue stripes and its really light and soft...

i was hitting today in that shirt and went with the all white look and i was serving like sampras! :)

John should give the Johnny McEnfro one more go while he still can.

Nope. Pete's using the same racquet as Federer, so it's a 90. It's just that Federer's has the latest K90 paintjob on them while Sampras still has the older nCode paintjob on them. When Federer switched over to the K90 paintjob, he didn't need all the unused ones with the older nCode paintjob on them so Wilson sent all the leftovers to Pete. ;)

The pictures of the racket look like the nsix one 95 because the throat looks rounder and the beams look wider. I think Pete switched to the 95 by the looks of it. I know you love mids but it looks like he may have switched to a 95 by just looking at those pictures.

With his age and all that force, how come he doesn't screw his rotator cuff?

Sorry, but you're wrong. I use the nSix-One 90 as my main stick so I should know what it looks like and Pete is definitely using the 90. The angle of the photos may make it look rounder and wider than it actually is.

Also, when asked about his racquet, Pete replied that he called up Wilson and asked them to send him some of Federer's racquets and that's what they did.

In the McEnroe serving picture, how come mac is not looking up at the ball? is it just past contact ?
