Volley against a wall somewhere. Hit both backhands and forehand until the motion begins to feel natural. Then you can later try it on a court.

temporarily quit using the semi or western grip and start using the continental...play matches using it. use it for volleys and groundstrokes. practice is the magic word ur looking for.

Volley against a wall somewhere. Hit both backhands and forehand until the motion begins to feel natural. Then you can later try it on a court. If that's too difficult, try hitting continental groundstrokes against the wall. If you're trying to develop a volley, concentrate on short blocky underspin shots.

pick up the racquet, get a continental grip, and do tap ups and tap downs. MAKE SURE YOU USE A CONTINENTAL GRIP THOUGH!!! otherwise this drill is completely worthless
