Before, It was just a callas.
Then, It became a blister.
That ripped and another formed below it. It looks like a bruise.

It hurts when I swing with my 1H Backhand. The butt end rubs against my palm and causes some friction.
I recently switch from the i.Rad to the RDS001 MP. I removed about 16g of lead that was on the RDS that it came with today. I'm going to rest until Saturday when I have my lessons.
I'm thinking that it's a grip shape or weight problem.
Did anyone else have this problem?

I actually have had a similar blister on occasion, and it has a similar cause - I hold my racquet lower on the handle than most people, so on a 1hbh the butt of the grip is right along that meaty part of the palm. On a good shot it's fine, the problems begin when you start framing and hitting off-center, causing the racquet to twist and...rub you the wrong way.

Sounds like it. Did you do anything?

That's happened to me so many times. Think of it as a mark of achievement. Your dedication and hard work is evident from the abuse you're willing to put yourself through in order to attain a higher level. I'll bet even though you're injured, you still can't stay away from the courts. You can either let it heal (which you probably should) or eventually it'll turn into a tough callus anyway. Rest assured, it won't always be like that.
On the other hand, you might be gripping the racquet incorrectly too! :D Nevertheless, that doesn't take away from what I said earlier.

Maybe I can choke up on the handle? The added stability would help my hand.
D'oh, I just remembered. Choking up would result in my palm folding over and causing another pain.
Argg... It's ironic because my friend just called asking to hit at the courts. I had to decline because of THIS.

Geeez, man, that doesn't look like anything playing tennis would do. It looks like something more serious like syphilis or something. Are you sure you got it playing tennis?

The picture's too blurry. You're sure you didn't just rip off the top layer of skin? Because that's pretty normal with junior players who practice too much and with new, tacky overgrip.

One is curious as to how one contracts syphilis of the hand.... :-p
Actually, one may be better off not knowing.

I know a lady who contracted aural herpes. Her name is Lois Griffin.

I think he contracted in another way (if you know what I mean), it is projecting itself through his system. I am not sure what it is but it sure looks like some sort of disease or something.

If you can contract such a blister through these "other means," then you realllllly need to work on our 'technique.' :-p

Try Nu-skin, which is really only super glue. Be sure to put a number of layers on (it will burn like crazy when you first put it on) and make sure you cover a larger area than the blister so it won't peel off when you play next time. In about a week you should have a nice new callus forming so it won't happen again.
thats why I always wear a tennis glove :D

I got a blister.
I left it alone and it disappeared after 2 days.
Played again and the skin ripped. It hardened and I removed it.
Rested another day.
Played again and *insert picture here*.
I play from 2-5ish.
Edit:
better picture? It took it with my V3 phone.

I used to get those, that is caused by holding the racquet too "low", I choked up a bit and I stopped getting them. You'll be fine, I highly doubt you've contracted syphilis. If you don't hold off for a while, it can get much, much, worse. (IE, I've actually had one bleed, which wasn't good, as my nice new Wilson Pro overgrip turned red)

Easier said than done, I'm afraid, but that's certainly the best course of action. I still think that's nothing too severe and part of the learning process. Most likely you are gripping too low, but you will form a stronger callus given time. Your body's clever that way.

I had something similar in the same place, but it wasn't as fricken ugly.
I just put 2 flexible fabric band-aids and voila, i kept playing.
I would stop with that thing though.

I wouldn't try it if I were you, just put a bandage on it along with neosporin (see movie : Kung Pow) and pressure wrap it for a couple of days. It will go away and it will be tougher on the meat of your palm.

I actually hold lower than that even (my pinky comes off numerous times), but I also have a hardened callus and paid my dues (i.e. multiple skin rippages and many hours of painful hitting).

That has happened to my doubles partner recently. it was because he did not have his actual grip that you purchase at the store low enough on the racket. it was slightly too high, but barely noticeable. try regripping hte racket and staying verylow covering the edge. After that put an overgrip on and try to keep it very low on the handle. hope this help.s also dont use a leather grip for the time being and stay away from a stickier overgrip. get the softer sampras grip bc/ its puts less friction.

Don't some atheletes put superglue or something like that on their wounds similar to that one? I can't remember.
