We all know about the basketball player sized goons who can serve like they are shooting cannonballs out of a tree. But what relatively pint sized pro has had a big serve?
Johan Kriek immediately comes to my mind. How about others?

Rochus served pretty hard at Roland Garros this year.

i second that...he serves upper 130s rather routinely and can hit into the 140s too...

In addition to Ben Becker, Grojean is even shorter but can also serve up some bombs.

Yeah, Grosjean is a great example. He has a very underrated serve...not to mention some serious pace on the forehand as well.

Really? That's impressive! Has he been consulting Barry Bonds' trainer?;)
His technique must be excellent and he must have a solid upper body musculature.

Laver. The best server all time when talking about short guys.Kriek is also a very good choice.Hoad might rank up there ( but being 5,9 was taller than Laver)

Not at all, height does not give you any more MPH on your serve, but rather the height gives you the angles to get those serves IN.
A short guy like Becker or Tipsarevic have the ability to get those hard serves IN. That is impressive.
