I'm thinking about buying a couple sets since I don't really want to spend a lot of money on gut. What are your experiences and thoughts with it and how does it stack up with gut?

next best thing to gut IMO, but if it ain't gut, then it's nylon. it's a really good string that mimicks the properties of gut better than anything else i've tried. it doesnt play as well as the bow brand/duraflex hybrid i use though, and the hybrid is really about the same price as the bi-phase. the one advantage you gain w. the bi=phase of course is that you dont have to worry about moisture. hope this helps.

If it was cheaper or more durable, it would be my first choice string

I really like BiPhase 17. Nice power, spin and feel, and really gentle on my sore arm. 14 set of doubles and it's starting fray a bit, but still plays really well.

Love Technifibre Bi - Phase 17. Durability has been a good surprise. Have mine on an Ncode95 strung at 61lbs. Its been going for 12 hours of playing - half of that time doing drills and smacking tons of balls.
