Liquidmetal Radical question

Would anyone here know if there is a considerable difference between the current lower priced Liquidmetal Radical that comes strung and the older Czech made versions?

I have one of each and there are very slight differences, but they seem to play the same - the cheap one is no worse (once you put decent strings in - mine came prestrung)
The paint on the new one is slightly deeper in colour, the new one is perhaps just a tad heavier, and there is a slight difference in the mold on the side where the grommets end.
