Double Posting.

I have been on many forums, even modded on a few, but I have never seen such rampant double posting. Is it really the difficult to use the edit feature? The end result is a bunch of post greedy users who jump 200 posts in a month. Seriously... check some of the people who joined in July.

Now if they're not double posting, there's a serious spamming issue. I don't have anything against the mods on this forum, but is there any reason for it to be so lax? Perhaps its just a pet peeve of mine. Any other users find anything wrong with this?

Some people get on my nerves, like the ones who create new threads (or polls) just so they can get more posts. The only reason that I have 900+ posts is I have had a lot of time this summer. Before the summer started, I probably had 300-400.

Now that I think about it more... it makes a little sense to me. Assuming that there are so many tennis fans out there, many of whom are new to the sport. I could imagine it would get a little rowdy. Has there been any attempts to make blatant warnings against it?

I see a few veterans doing it... ones with exuberant post counts. *cough* *cough*

i really dont see why people are so concerned with post count. ive modded a few forums also and its everywhere. people just go nuts. it wont gain you any more respect with those who have been here a while.
