I had a Head Ti s1 4 3/8 grip racquet. It was fine with me, I never felt I have to get a bigger grip. Two days back I ordered Dunlop Aerogel 200 (4 3/8), (18*20) unstrung racquet to strung it with Topspin cyber Energy string. Yesterday only I found this site and measured my grip size as shown in the site.

Surprisingly I measured as 4 1/2 grip:confused: then I tried the Head racquet with two napkins wind to the grip:-D . I felt more comfort and realized 4 1/2 is the correct size. Now I have 3 choices :

1. using heat-shrink sleeve
2. using overgrips
3. using both of them.

Please suggest me a choice or better method. I really want to keep my bevels and should be 99% like 4 1/2 racquet. If nothing works fine I am thinking to give without opening it. As I cant post a message in TW as this is a new one. So please suggest me some forum or something but nothing like **** or amazon who charges. I am thinking of giving it to $120. If any of your friends or some one looking for this one then they can reach me at sharath_vk*at*yahoo dot com or svallam at uark dot edu.

Thank you.:p

Try 1 or 2 overwraps.. Its what I do if the handle feels small. I just ad an overgrip until I am happy.

Overgrip it. Try thinner overgrips if you don't want to go too far away from your 4 3/8 grip. I also use a 4 3/8 most of the time but I can use a 4 1/2 too. I like the bigger grip better.

have you got the Dunlop in hand yet? You may find that the grip size is fine. I find i have to go down a grip size with Dunlop.

to me every companies grip size feels alittle different. Prokenex 4 3/8" on my Redondo is perfect with a Fairway grip. 4 1/4" on the dunlops and believe it or not 4 1/2" on wilson n90 with leather grip feels good but I have never held their 4 3/8" to see if I like it better. I think the grip shape has a lot to do with how the different sizes feel at least to me.

The Dunlop grip feels a bit larger than spec'd to me...it is actually correct, just the shape. I double-overgrip all the time and it works fine. I don't think you'll have any problems making the 4 3/8 work for you...we're talking a 1/8" difference from the 1/2, after all.

after market replacement grips are thicker too, esp the gel ones, if you replace your stock one, it'll def be thicker, that might help too........

I've played with the ag 200 over the last 2 days with a 3/8 grip and found that it felt pretty true to size...not that different than my Bab 3/8. It's by now means like a Head and it's smaller grip. Try it for a few days. When I moved from a head to bab back in February it took me a while to switch back to a "normal" 3/8 sized grip, so give it a shot.
