View Full Version : Replacing Babolat Pure Control + MP

I have tried/bought the Dunlop 200g xl, Prince Tour NXG Graphite Midplus and the Pure Drive + in an attempt to replace the discontinued Babolat Pure Control Plus MP (27.5 length & 100 head). Can someone suggest a suitable replacement?
I thought about Vantage but the $ scares me. Also considered the Prince Tour Diablo XP Midplus or the Babolat Pure Storm Tour Plus. I know I want a 27.5 and I like the 16x20 string pattern. Thanks.

I'm pretty sure the Pure Storm Tour+ is supposed to replace the PC+. I've never hit with the Pure Control but my son has the Pure Storm Tour + and loves it (he came from the PD+). I'd definitely put it on your demo list.

You might want to demo the Prince Hybrid Tour - it has the open string pattern, plays a little stiff, and has good power and feel if the stringbed is on the firm side. I think it's a standard 27" length, but hey, "don't knock it 'til you try it".
