Anyone have anything to say about these two strings? Which do you like better?

I currently string with PSGD 16 on my Dunlop 200g XL and like the softer feel of the strings, they seem very playable until the end then they fell terrible (but that's just me being lazy and not getting them strung).

I am a 4.0 converted to an all courter from formerly being a baseliner.

I am thinking about buying a reel of the Gosen because the customer reviews on the website here seem to be pretty high on Gosen and it's super cheap, even compared to PSGD.

If it players similar or better I think I will give it a go.

Please let me know your experiences. Thanks

It doesn't resist breakage as well as the enhanced synguts. Try a couple of sets first to be on the safe side.

You should try out Pro Supex Spiral Flex which is a cross of PSGD and Prince Lightning XX and has a silver durafoil wrap.

I've used both and only thing I can say is PSGD feels softer than the Gosen.

I used to play with PSGD in my main before i do a switch to poly. For me this sting give you feel, touch, control in most area. If the string life span is along as poly i would have stick with them.

As for OG, I usually string is at my cross together with either Top Spin Cyber flash or cyber power. OG is a very good synt gut for its price.

I agree that Gosen OG Micro plays a little softer than PSGD. For me, I get a little more feel when hitting drop shots and drop volleys. OG doesn't last very long for me (7-10 hrs), but it's so inexpensive that it doesn't matter much, now that I have a stringing machine.

If you are comparing Gosen to Prince then try the Prince Syn Gut Original instead of the Duraflex. It plays closer to the OG Sheep Micro.

And still beats it by a mile...

I don't see how people say PSGD could be softer than the Gosen...doesn't the prince have kevlar in it?!?! even if it's minute, it should be a dead giveaway that the prince is not near as soft.
