Haven't posted in awhile, but I'm going to be there for the men's Quarters. My brother in law lives in Brooklyn, so we'll be staying with him for several days and watching tennis at least one day. I have a connection that may land me some tickets to the semis. I can't wait to see grand slam tennis live, I've only been to the Memphis tournament. Anyone else gonna be there?

I was planning to go this year, but plans have changed. I'll try to go next year. I used to live in new york when I was like 6 year old. But I didn't watch tennis at that age. I wish I had gone during those years. Anyone who is going take lots of pictures and post their experiences. I'm 20 years old now, but have any of you other adults gone to Arthus Ashe kids day without bringing any kids?

Man, I wish I was going this year. Went back in 02 and it rained pretty much the whole time that first week. I would like to see the Open when it isn't raining cats and dogs.

I will be there everyday, every session. I fly to NYC on Sunday. I will need a break of tennis after that.

Check out what´s new at the Open this year, especially the hand-held TVs:

Thought about going for the middle weekend, then decided not to (work, plus went to Indian Wells and Westwood and going to Shanghai for the 3rd year in a row). As a few mentioned, the threat of rain is an issue. Also, with the USA Network multiple feed, the best seat is truly at home.

that's because you suck! seriously, that's unlucky. i had sunshine and 80 degrees for 6 out of the 7 days.

i did go to wimbledon one year and over 4 days i saw 30 minutes of tennis. it rained every day steady. so i know how you felt.

I scored some free corporate tickets for Saturday. Not sure whether it's the ladies final or men's semis...I wish I knew now!

wow, i'm suprised at how many of "us" are going. i got tickets for both the day and night session on the middle sunday, the 2nd. this is my first major, i've been to several masters though.. the weather looks great during my time there. sunny every day with not one day being hotter than 80f.

cool it. way to early for weather talk. I've been to Labor Day weekend the last seven years and it's always been a sunny forecast five or six days in advance, then it changes. Just don't get my hopes up. I'll admit I'm checking weather.com every day, but I'm not putting any stock in it till wednesday night or Thursday. PRAY.

Being that I live in Queens, I'll be near there. Oh yeah, please take the 7 train instead of driving as I can't stand the traffic when I take the Van Wyck or the GCP. Please be courteous to us native New Yorkers because we get enough traffic over there from the Mets games. Thank you very much.
