Does it matter if your strings move? Meaning will it effect the way you hit the ball or how the ball reacts off of the string?

I don't know the answer but I know I don't like it.

All strings move at impact, polys tend to snap back into place more than others which is why some folks say they don't move. The string that is displaced from its regular grid formation means that you get a slightly different hit when you strike the next ball. If the strings are dancing all over the place it might be time to see your racket stringer.

right now I am playing with Babolat PH mains and Babolat Xcel crosses and the Xcel crosses move up the racquet (if the raquet is standing up straight). In my previous string jobs with full multis it was the mains that moved alot.
