I'm curious how much do retailers really pay for tennis racquets? Also, what kind of markup do retailers generally try to add to the final price for customers? I'm sure the lower price is contingent on quantity requirements by the manufacturer, but I just wanted to get a general sense of the profit retailers make per racquet. For example, a newer racquet like the Wilson KFactor K6.1 is being sold on Tennis-Warehouse for $189 but how much did Wilson charge them? If anyone has experience in managing or working in a tennis retail environment your help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
