I have the ntour strung with alu power rough at 57 and thought i should do the same with my ntour two. I was wrong, i felt more power with my ntour two so i have decided that i will string it at 60. I do not want to string outside the recommend string tenison range (50-60). If stringing at 60 still doesn't work what's the best alternative to alu power rough that is less powerful?

Try to hybrid it with pro hurricane 17 in the mains. Full alu gives quite some zip and less control. Alu loses tension quickly anyways. alu at 59 and ph at 60.

ph has less zip and more spin... more predictable trajectory.

Wouldn't the pro hurricane be better at a gauge of 16 because it's less powerful? Why bother changing the tension between the strings by one lb, would it make that much of a difference as appose to making them both at 60?

Go up 1lb at a time if you are uncertain and can't adjust your shots. Those are slightly different racquets so the timing and feel can be off.

Too much power means it goes to the fence(or close)... then you should go up 3lbs. It will feel like a board.

You can try ph/alu at 57. It doesn't hurt to experiment.

Well would you suggest trying alu power at 60 first or trying alu power and pro hurricane at 59/60 first? I don't break strings too often so experiments aren't my favourite.

I'd go 58 first. 60 is really harsh unless you feel it's overpowered.

Well the reason I want to change is cause i feel that the racquet is sumwhat overpowered...
