Hi, this may be a bit a rehash of a post I did a while back but I just wanted to get some info on serving. It's more of a technique question that a health question.
I am wondering, for all serves, kick/topsin, slice and flat, should the ball be hit with your arm in full extension?
If so, how can you generate kick/topsin with you arm fully extended?
I can get good topspin and kick when I serve but what I tend to do is have a lower toss over my head and I hit with a bent arm and brush up the back of the ball. The problem is that this aggrivates my tennis elbow. I am guessing that's why my tennis elbow hurts is because I am making contact with a bent arm which is hard on the elbow.
Does anyone know for sure that hitting making contact with a bent arm is hard on tennis elbow?
Any advice
Thanks
Acer
