I have a revenge match coming up in less than 90 minutes. I don't know if I should eat something or not. Opinions?

I would...dont eat a big meal but something that will give you some lasting energy. Something like pasta would be good...also some bananas.

Whole Grain Bread.

Agreed.. Good source of energy and fiber. You don't want to start feeling hungry during the match do ya?

Good luck m8

No, Phil. It was Ritchie along with that 5 week smoking binge, but I took him out today 6-2, 4-6, 6-2. I dropped the middle set because we switched courts and it turned out to be ultra slow (a volleyer's nightmare), so he retrieved a bunch of volleys that would have been putaways on the other court. For the 3rd set, we switched courts again and Richard simply could not regain his rhythm. BTW, I ate half a can of tuna before I left and popped 3 hydroxycut along with 2 glucosamine tablets. I had more pills in me than food and by the end of the match, the right side of my biceps femoris was cramping so I bought some V-8 and added salt to it. Big mistake! Yes, the cramps went away, but the salt settled in my stomach and I felt like vomiting. Lesson learned, don't add salt to already salty drinks when cramping.

There isn't probably anything drastically wrong with eating something light, but you are fooling yourself if you think you are getting much out of the nutrition in the meal during the match.

just a banana or granola bar or have some powerade on hand if you feel tired during the match. Don't eat too much before a match.

hydroxycut before a match? Isn't for weight loss?

Hydroxycut will wire you up. It's like drinking 2 cups of coffee, at least that's what the bottle says.

You are a man super in tune with your body if you can make out a biceps femoris cramp from the rest of your hamstrings muscles. :)

What I meant was my right hamstring.

i played a kid today who, late into the second set, complained about eating potassium on an empty stomach. after i won the second set, his mom asked him if he needed something to eat and i told him that he couldn't eat, because we had to go straight to super tiebreaker without a break. in super tiebreaker, as i went up two mini breaks on him, he just laid down on the court and i thought he was gonna pass out, he got up and started to cry. i finished him off though 10-5 pretty quickly
