Leather Grip --> Increased touch?

My babolat AeroPro Drive Cortex is lacking touch at the net and especially when i'm making dropshots. Will putting a leather grip + overgrip on my APDC increase the touch aspect of the racquet?

Feel.... I don't think that changes your game at all does it? It's just the feeling you get AFTER you hit the ball so control isn't affected at all...
