Anyone do this? I've got a big laser printer that's running out of ink.

I think it is completely reasonable to do once per cartridge. Some claim to have done it many times, I wouldn't though.

You can't refill a laser cause it uses toner. Basically little ink dust pellets. You can usually exchange toner cartridges on some websites etc. and get a 50$+ credit, but it's nothing you could do yourself. If you are talking about inkjet, etc that does use a simple ink cartridge you can refill it yourself as long as the sponge inside hasn't dried out if it has it'll never work again and you'll just make a mess and waste ink.

Basically start saving now if it is toner it may be a big hit to the pocket book.
