(1) Why is my post count stuck at 39? I'm not sure how long it's been that way, but I noticed it didn't change with my most recent 2-3 posts.

(2) Why can't I edit my posts (even before they've been viewed by others)?

1. Posts in certain forums do not add to your post count (e.g., Odds & Ends, etc.)

2. You have to have at least 50 counted posts to be able to edit.

Ahhh ... I see. Gracias, BP and DD.

I missed that (FAQ) because I generally don't click into sub-forums (usually click on "New Posts" or specific subject headers.
