Pro Supex Uniflex MP3

Its on a competitor site.

"The name says it all ... Well, not exactly. This racquet does not feature an mp3 player, but is sure is "uniflex". From the company that has been revolutionzing the game of tennis, Pro Supex brings in the first racquet to have the same distance for both the mains and crosses. The result is simply amazing. With the square shaped head, the Uniflex MP3 offers a larger sweetspot, more control, better access to spin, and excellent power. The firm feel allows excellent "punch" on the serve and volleys. Very manueverable at the net. Touch shots felt nice and smooth. Some of our playtesters put in some Blue Gear and the spin was just too good to describe. If you haven't experienced a racquet that gives just about everything, then this is a racquet to try.

Hmm so the corners aren't covered with string at all?

Ha, and it looks like when they say that the cross strings are the same distance, they are talking about the width of all of the strings, not the length of the strings. Who cares about that??

The crosses still look shorter than the mains.

I would be really shocked if anyone even bothers to buy this racquet.

Look at those huge gaps where there is no string. Yuck!

I think there talking about the center of the racquet how it makes a square. I think same length x as mains have been around as an idea for some time now.

Looks like a cross between a Rossignol and a Yonex.
Better mousetrap?
looks like a small sweetspot to me---other manus have tried
to
even out the mains and crosses in varying headshapes.
Personally, I think the long mains give you power and sweetspot.
Some rounder heads (Head microextreme) have tried to lengthen
the crosses. Remember the Spalding orbitech--completely round--so
many equal string lengths--that was a real hard racket to hit!
Funny--I think engineers have been able to change golf much more
than tennis--I think that's a good thing!

Not according to Martina Navratilova:

Navratilova criticizes lack of racket regulation (http://tt.tennis-warehouse.com/showthread.php?t=95427&highlight=navratilova)

Martina Navratilova criticized the tennis establishment on Saturday for not having enough regulations to deal with the size and strings of rackets...

....She praised the strict rules dictated by the Professional Golf Association.

"If golf regulated their game the same way tennis regulated our game, they'd be hitting 400 yard drives, hooking it left and right, any which way they want to, or keeping the ball straight even though you have a hook swing but the ball still goes straight."

Well, I don't know.....
at the top level (Federer?) the pros use traditonal rackets.
The game is changing to a power game, just like most sports.
Not a good thing imho, but if you can win that way, people will play
that way (winners, heavy topspin).
There is no argument that Tiger, with strength and technology plays a
different game than Nicklaus could.
Federer? He plays with essentially a 20-yr old racket--he's just better!
