A good, long rally. Most of the times, we both have a good laugh when the point ends.

Bad line call. I get irked by that and make it my mission to win.

i actually lack the motivation to win, but years ago i played a tournament with an empire and i played this dude who was 6 rankings ahead of me, he was leading 6-0 3-0 and he saw that i lost the point because i had been distracted by a ball flying over from the court next to ours, so he proposed to replay the point, the empire didnt see that as the ball came from behind him so he overruled, i complained and told the empire that my adversary agreed, so the empire asked the adversary if he indeed agreed cause he sure as hell didnt , and my adversary changed his mind, i turned red from rage on the spot got so damn angry ( never in my life i have been so angry ) and i decided i wouldnt give him any more points. if i would of lost, i would never mention this, but as it stands i won and i demolished him and the empire had to bear my comeback and a 3rd set.( haha )
why cant i play like that all the time grgrgr
it was really awesome, we had long rallies and i remember how i'd refuse to let him even get 1 point, in the 3rd set i lost 3 points, thats all.
3 ****** points to a guy who is supposed to wack my ass
also beat a guy that same year who won the first set and told his friend ( loud enough so i could hear it ) piece of cake man. should of known better with me, i aint a killer unless provoked ( i wont mention the tons of times i lost hehehe)

Usually good serving, or an unusually hot girl walking by.

I feel like a sicko for mentioning this, but this is just how it has turned out.
First, I am a really nice guy, even on court. However, I have found, when my opponent has a small group or family watching his match, I somehow get a rush, and genuine thrill out of controlling points, making him hit errors, and putting away any mistakes. So much so, that when I see them there claping for him in between points, I get so loose and free. My footwork is on, my strokes get a sharp groove to them, and I just play great. And I have no idea why.
Conversely, if my hitting partner shows up to watch ME, I get tighter than a snare drum!!! LOL! Universal equillibrium I guess.
Also, if I am serving well, I just mentally am into the points better, that jacks my game up a notch no question, regardless of the returns coming back.
