I'm a NY-NJ lifer but I have to root for the Sox -- you have to admire their esprit de corp.

I am only watching it because Dice-K is my country man...I want him to do well, but I also want Kaz Matsui to do well... ;)

This is getting ridiculous. 13-1? 3-4 runs by the rockies? Better pack and go home if this is all you have to offer Colorado.

At this point the Sox are just the Yankees in red...(respectfully) Not really; the Red Sox are just the Yankees only with cheesier uniforms and more "trailer-park" looking players---LMAO! Further, the Yankees do NOT wear (and never did) THEIR NAMES (good grief!) on the backs of their 'flannels'..... I mean, what is this?.....World Team Tennis???

And if ya wanna get picayune, the Yankees perfer not to have their left-fielder to dress in patent-leather spikes and trousers befitting a trumpet-player in a mariachi band. Oh....and about that "Manny-pointing-with-both-arms-after-hitting-a-home-run-and-showing-up-the-opposing-pitcher?":

Very much frowned upon in da Bronx.

That said, it looks like Boston in 5 at the most.

Btw, anyone know if the Rangers playing the Devil at the 'Garden' tonight? :-)

I don't dispute your fashion analysis. I was more speaking about the Front Office business practices and "Sox Nation" thing.

Been a Bosox fan forever. I grew up watching them on TV38. I remember Fisk's game 6 blast in '75, Bucky Dent's in '77, and the "Mookie Ball". Love the Sox, hate the Yankees, and I've enjoyed the last few years tremendously.
