participate in college's 07-08 varsity tennis captain's practices. The players high school varsity tennis season is over at this point, but is still enrolled in senior year at HS to graduate in June, 08. State high school league policy does not prevent this participation, as long as the student/players varsity season is over.

Is this an illegal recruitment practice? What would the NCAA say about this?

As far as i remember, its only against the rules if the coach is present during the practice. Thats why they call it "captain's practice" because the coach has the upper classmen work you out and then let him know how it went.

I assistant coach at the HS level and my boys team routinely "practices" with a D-III college womens team.
