Don't know the song but they kept flashing Arnaud Clement here and there without really showing him close-up or for very long, and most of it was off the court.

It sounded like Ace of Base.

ty= actually about to post the exact same thing when i saw this topic! luckily not as catchy, but the commercial definitely grates on my nerves...just trying too hard to be chic-poppy-discotheque- i'm a young, hip european, and i wear nothing but $150 tight polo shirts-type of thing, but its so over the top that its cheezy. at least from where i'm standin'...

I will always relate the Summer of '04 with that Mercedes Benz commercial, coming in from the beach everyday around lunch time to watch Cincy/Toronto. I hated it at first, but grew to love it :)

Oh...noo!!! The bad memories return. (sigh)

Lacoste seems to be bombarding my cable airwaves with their commercials lately. On the sports channel during TMC matches I get the "It's Over Now" commercial (which was aired originally for the French Open, I'm told). On other stations, I get their "Touch of Pink" commercial.

"I've got the world on a string, sittin' on a rainbow..."

They played that commercial about 10 times during each break. That was terror to my ears.
