I was looking forward to seeing the evolution of the Bush/Kerry thread in pro players talk this morning, but when I logged in, it wasn't there :cry: . Did I miss something good, or did TW just decide that it really wasn't appropriate ?

Yeah. I figured it would get bounced from Pro Player Talk, but I hoped it would just get moved over here instead of being deleted outright.

It was just starting to get interesting.

Well, Bush and Kerry are quite definitely not ATP pros. So why was that discussion in "pro player talk" in the first place?

TW wisely deemed the thread, and the poster, irrelevant. He's been bounced previously for similar idiocies. If you're so keen to read about Bush-Kerry, I suggest you log onto Yahoo News, the New York Times or any on-line American metropolitan daily newsservice, or the respective candidates' Websites-you'll get much better information on the election on those and other relevant locations. However, if you wish to continue reading and writing about tennis, log on right HERE.

Is there an echo in the room?...

It is widely known that George Bush(the first one) is a tennis nut. That should be all you fellow tennis nuts need to know before voting. John Kerry doesn't even know what tennis is.

Yeah, that sure makes perfect sense to me.

I guess that's why he was DISQUALIFIED for a second term... Now throw a ball to a chimp...

I thought I read George W. was a 4.5 rated tennis player prior to entering the White House.

He was only a 4.5 during his time in Alabama.

If GHWB was a 4.5 prior to 1989 then I'm a 9.6; I've seen him play; he bl*ws.

@wright

Phil, it only goes up to a 7.0.

@wright - Check to see if your sarcasm meter is still working. May need a tune-up.

Okay, Edge, we're gonna play "Let's follow Phil, now." Well, I see by your "signature" that you have me in your thoughts, always, so if you're gonna be obsessed, why not go all the way, boy-child. Now to be my puppy dog, you must stay behind me a couple paces, that is what you've been doing recently, so, good boy. I've posted a couple times today, so go over there and make some more infantile comments-git!
