The answer lies in the sponsorship. It's always about the mighty $

Michael Jordan --- Nike
Tiger Woods --- Nike
Roger Federer -- Nike
Rafael Nadal -- Nike
USC --- Nike
UCLA --- Addidas
Stanford -- Nike

The list just goes on and on.

Look up Carlos Boluda a Jr., tennis player from Spain -- Nike (hmmm maybe they see something others don't)

Sports marketing is big business and only the best get the best.

so you are saying that if you get paid big bucks in sponsorships you know you are good enough? i don't get it. i think it goes more like this... when you are good enough, you get paid big bucks in sponsorships. and "good enough" is relative. what is good enough to you?

Sampras -- Nike
Agassi -- Addidas (I think)

Yes either you have the big $ to get you to the point of them giving you the necessary money or you are so good at such a young age as in Boludas case that they give you the sponsorship to keep you on that track.

Do you no if he signed a financial contract and how much or is he just getting the clothing shoe ect. A kid named Evans out of bolleiteri sign for a million( for sure) , i believe Young was somewhere in the ballpark of 2- 3million how accurate his no.s are are hearsay. So if his(carlos) contract is $$$ then there hoping and planning on his success in the future!
