...

that's completely illegible, you know. Wherever you copy-pasted that from, you need to fix it up before posting it....

And the mental aspect?

That is among the intangibles for me. I am trying to do it like the tennis-covering crews would though I suspect my judgements would be different, and more objective than theirs.

Just a question: how do you make sure your judgment is more objective?

I'm just curious about your criteria. :)

Well I like to watch match stats and things like that. Often those can justify your comparisions of aspects of the game, if you want some benchmark to go by. :) Federer actually gets more aces than Roddick when they play but that is because his return is so much better. Roddick gets more aces overall. Things like that.

You gave Safin a better backhand than Federer?? I don't think so.

I do think so and I am a Roger fan. He certainly hits alot more winners off it.

Amother thing.. Roddick's forehand seems to be more reliable than Safin's. Marat makes a one too many errors on that side. I also don't think Hewitt backhand is any better than Fed..

I'll just compare the Larry Lot

Forehand- Fed
Backhand- Safin
Serve- Roddick
Return- Fed
Volley- Fed
Movement- Fed
Intangibles- Hewitt

Were you at the Sydney Olympics. I am surprised in the topic of top ten favorite athletes you didnt mention people Ian Thorpe as well. I thought all Australian sport fans were Thorpe addicts(I cant stand him personally).

No i wasn't Davey. Thorpe is an amazing athlete but i'm not a swimming fan so don't rate him on my list.
