View Full Version : Funny anecdote about Roddicks house in Austin

Well over the weekend I was visiting a friend of mind who lives in a gated community over by Mt. Bonnell, same place where Lance Armstrong used to have a house before he built by the lake. Anyway, on my way out I saw this house painter who is a friend and we chatted for a minute. I asked him what he was going out there and he said painting a house "for some tennis player." Thinking he meant a local I player I said "Who ? I probably know him..." and his reply was "I don't know his name, he's supposedly Number 1 in the world...." I didn't bother to tell him Federer doesn't live here.

Dang, PMac's painting his house too?
PMac might do a little bit more than that.

Gee, a gated community, Lance Armsrong, Roddick, your friend, you. Good to know whe have quality posting here. In Canada "gated" usually means the entrance to a correctional institution. or maybe a farm.

Roddick's property in Austin... Now if we don't have a Wimbledon winner this year... He's still wondering why Mandy was not too thrilled about that move though.

They're septic tanks.

i think they're where espn's incubating all of the future roddick clones in underground chambers
they're kept in pods and fed on recycled babolats
that way when one roddick is knocked out of the draw, they'll have an army to take its place
