Looking for some suggestions on an appropriate shoe for me.
I am 6"3 225 lbs and had 2 knee operations 10 years ago. My foot is on the wide side but not a 4e or anything. I plan on playing 2-3 times a week on hard courts from march til october.
Can anyone suggest a shoe for me?

Csb,

For your size, weight, and previous knee injuries you need a shoe
that puts a premium on support and stability-which is what I look
for also. New Balance 801 are excellent for support/stability and
they have various widths to accommodate your wide foot. Also,
I would give high marks to Nike Air Resolve and Addidas Barricade
3,s. I have not worn Reebok. Also, I would consider K-SWISS
Preventors. Stay away from shoes less that 16oz. Also,to improve
comfort for your knees put an insole such as Spenco,Sofsol, that
is designed for court sports. Also, long before your shoes soles
wear out you will have crushed the midsole-the best way to tell
when this is done is one day while playing or afterwards, your
feet and ankles will hurt which indicate the midsoles are shot.
Its better to get rid of shoes too early than too late. Good Luck!

try the fila speed 2. My foot is also a little on the wide side. These shoes are very durable compared to most shoes. Also good support.

New Balance 1000 is a great shoe, take it from a big guy (I am ranked #1 in the state in my weight class)
