strings on my aerogel 200

i have an aerogel 200 and it is strung with lkuxion big banger alu power at 67. (2 above max)
ive been playing with at least a month with this and i dont get the pop like i used to.
does that mean that these strings are dead?
should i just cut them and use my pro hurricanes tour?

They go dead pretty quickly depending on your level.

The knock on poly strings is that even though they go for a relatively long time without breaking, they lose what little resiliency they have after only several hours of play - some say it's around 12-15 hours. If your strings feel dead, it's probably because they are.

Hard to say what alternatives you have since syn gut will loosen up on you as you use it. Maybe check out a kevlar hybrid set like Prince ProBlend with Duraflex. It holds up well (hey, kevlar actually is bulletproof) and you may get better playability from it over its service life.
