The extended version has a much higher swingweight. Once you get adapted to it though, it's fine.

I am a big fan of this racquet, I have been playing with it for about a year. I have made and answered many threads on this stick, so I won't waste your time repeating my positive comments. I like it, but it is heavy. You would be better off in the long run with the standard length. It hits very similar but with more control. I switch back and forth all the time and have fun with both. The real question is, what do you want the stick to do for you? I will be happy to answer any questions regarding this racquet.

The X is for a more serve and volley game with fast slick courts

K95X is an amazing racquet, if you can handle it.

If they made a K95X in 18 x 20, would you choose that over the version that they have now (i.e. 16 x 18 )?

I am not sure if you are asking me that question, I don't want to offend anybody, but I wish to defend the K95x.
Yes, that was my original position on this racquet, why not an 18x20 pattern? I thought that would make more sense. I figured that the 16x18 and the extended length would be too powerful. But for some reason it has control, meaning the ball doesn't fly on you as much as you think. I have more confidence in the K95x than the K95 16x18. I fly more with the standard length 16x18. Don't ask me why, maybe the Wilson engineers know something I don't. But the racquet bites the ball well and dips in with full swings with the K95x. There is a lot of ball movement with this stick, it hits a heavy ball. I love that!!!!!

Just wondering cause I know that the old skool PSC 6.1 95 "stretch" came in 18 x 20.
