My Predictions

16's Filip Krajinovic--- if he plays 16's might get wc into 18's
14's Christain Harrison--- should take it home
12's Joe DiGuilo--- ON FIRE

Christian Harrison can't win the 14s - he got a wild card into the 16s...see below...

Krajinovic was accepted into the main draw of the 16s but appears to have pulled out completely - possibly because he's in the main draw of the Boys 18s at the Prince Cup next week.

Already some upsets:

Boys 16s
Wild Card Christian Harrison beat the #5 seed in 3 sets

Wild Card Harry Fowler beat #2 seed Giacomo Miccini in 3 sets

Actually, they are two separate tournaments. This thread is for the Orange Bowl. The 12s/14s is the Jr. Orange Bowl. The Orange Bowl is an ITF event, the Jr. Orange Bowl is not. While it's still a prestigious tournament, it is independent from the ITF Dunlop Orange Bowl tournament.

The Junior Orange Bowl is part of a huge youth festival, of which tennis is just part.

If they were the same tournament, he wouldn't be allowed to play in both age groups.

yup he's playing already won the first match... now he will face Daniel Cox on 2nd round it will be a tough one since they know each other so well... they are doubles partners in most tournaments... i hope he wins. Gastão once the top juniors go seniors on 2008 he will be place at #3 with good chances in AO to become #1... but I think IMG is planning on making him to play ATP next year so probably juniors will start to be more on the background... too bad i'd like to see him as #1 junior altough i'd like even more to see him in the top 20 at least...

Although, in fairness, even the USTA and Orange Bowl organisers credit the jnr Orange Bowl as being part of the same event: as you can see in every report of Tomic's win listing him as having now won three 'Orange Bowl' tournaments.
